I was promised my manager would “look into” non statutory benefits such as public transport reimbursement, lunch vouchers etc. One year later and this has still not happened despite me asking.

Over hours are the norm. I’m expected to keep working and be available even if I’ve finished my part of the work and my manager is behind because of a lack of organisational skills on his side.

To me it seems like stress is used as a motivator. And…If you can’t handle stress then you’re called weak or “not made for this job”.

I find it unfair since I personally have a way of working that doesn’t make me stressed, but my manager’s stresses himself out because of working style and he then calls me/talks to me to almost transfer his stress to me.

I was promised my manager would “look into” non statutory benefits such as public transport reimbursement, lunch vouchers etc.
